Let us uplift each other :)

Here is an award for all of you my uplifting friends :)

I am reading tonight and just got to a chapter
on friendship.
I wanted to share a few things I read that I really liked...

"Your alliances should add to your life, not subtract from it. They should bring increase to you mentally, spiritually, emotionally, and physically. They should build you up, not tear you down; encourage and exhort you to grow, to dream, to flourish!"

So true... I l♥ve it! Let us all uplift each other!
Hope you all have a beautiful week! L♥ve and Hugs!

I have noticed lately that my closest friends are my REAL sisters, however I feel like my other friends are like sisters :) Love the quote.

I love this. It's so true that we need to lift and build one another. There is enough garbage going on in the world and if we could each remember this what a great blessing we could be to each other.

Those are some awesome quotes, and wonderful reminders. Thank you Shauna!!! I'm currently reading about "filling" other people up with kindness, and it's amazing the difference uplifting someone can make.

That's an excellent quote, Shauna. I came to a very similar conclusion last year when I realized how stressed and confused a member of my preschool group consistently made me feel. I finally decided that while I can be nice to her and be her friend, she didn't need to be a constant person associating with our family. I talked with my hubby who said it would be good to see how it went. I was amazed after a week of being nice but not scheduling tons of playdates with her, that I felt better and was in general, much lighter.

I have been very lucky to have met wonderful incredible women who I thoroughly enjoy being with and who we can support each other. But I do think it's important to remember that it's okay to separate from would-be friendships that are pulling us the opposite ways from our goals and family.

Thank you for the quote!!!

So does this mean I should give up blogging? I don't always feel that alliance when I get mean comments. BUT, I do love my friends who love and support me through everything! Thanks for being that friend.
