Sharing Is Important...

It's very important to share! This blog is a great place for us to share, uplift, encourage and bring out the best in each other! One way I think will help us to do that is to share. Good friends share. By talking, discussing, exchanging ideas, smiling, listening, laughing and crying together. We all have different gifts and strengths that we can share with each other. We can also share our love.

So with that said, this post is all about sharing!

Now here's the fun part...

Please leave a comment sharing something :)

I want to share my love for baking!! It is so soothing to me, and a stress release. I am not a MASTER baker or pastry chef, but I have fun!! I am sharing my banana cake recipe--so GOOD!! Check-out this post here: http://rantsravesandpetpeeves.blogspot.com/2009/06/banana-cake.html.

I can't wait to see what others share. Thanks Shauna for the Sisterhood.

Recently my 3 yo's behavior has left me frazzled! However a friend and a cousin have really encouraged me, reminding me that this time, too, shall pass.

Maybe you are in a difficult period, too

I found this post today about the relationship between forgiveness and trust--it's something I needed to see, and I thought it would be worth sharing.

Hey Shauna,

I think this is a great idea and I have a great love for women and sisterhood. I have a couple of things I would love to share. One is to magnify our talents because it is a great way to help women develop a strong self-esteem and help others. And two, I love to encourage women to exercise and eat right and take care of themselves. Mom's especially put everyone's needs in front of their own, sometimes to their own personal detriment. I'm a great cheerleader and love to see others succeed!

I'm going to share my favorite quote today. When I'm going through a tough time, I read this quote aloud before going to bed!

"Have courage for the great sorrows in life and patience for the small ones. When you have laboriously accomplished your daily tasks, go to sleep in peace. God is awake."

Wow sharing. I am one that holds in untill I bursts and thats not pretty. Maybe by me here reading your blog will help me open up and be a better person. I hope you dont mind but I will share something that bothers me and maybe you can help me get through it over maybe over my issue. My sx husband has remarried. We have 2 children. They are now 16 and 13. The new wife seems to get under my shin. Yes He has our children do to the type job I have,(I am a travel nurse that is never in one state for more than 3 - 6 months at a time). She does blogging as well as most woman do these days. She had invited me to read the blog. Yes that was nice of her. The thing she rights as though the children are hers. That hurts me so deeply. I have told her my feelings over and over. She tells me that she should not have to watch the words she types she is raising them. Well now yes and no. How do I handle something like this? She is a stay at home mom of 3 of her own plus my 2. I do pay child support so in a sence I pay her bills, I should have some sort of say what goes on with my children.
Well that is my sharing. Please what can I do to get through this?

What a sweet post Shauna... sharing makes the world brighter! :) I like sharing laughs with people... it's sooo fun to sit around with family and good friends and remember silly memories! I love it when we all end up laughing so hard we're crying!

So now I'll tell you a joke: What did the caterpillar say when he saw the snail cry drive by in his new car with the letter "S" painted on it?!? "Look at that S CAR GO!!!"

Ok... dorky... but I tried! :)
